Synopsis

Sally is a typical teen going through 21st century teen problems including all of the social media dysfunction that technology has piled onto an already difficult transition in the life of a young woman; online bullying, the constant need for instant gratification, the rejection of not getting that gratification, and the deluge of comparison to others who portray their online lives as the perfect life. This has created a fracture in young peoples lives, a persona they hide behind the mirror, and a different persona they let others see. Reflections is the culmination of that fracture being pushed beyond its limits to the breaking point.

Sally is getting ready for the Homecoming Dance, an important night in the life of a teen, but the pressure her abusive adoptive mother puts on this night is too much for Sally to bear. While Sally may not be able to stand up to her mother, Sally’s reflection takes matters into her own hands, but what’s real and what is just a reflection?

Sally's abusive adoptive mother is out to ruin this day for her, but Sally's reflection has other ideas.
